Our Bed and Breakfast, which is located on a family-run farm halfway between Pienza and Montepulciano, is set on a panoramic and strategic spot: an ideal base for truly experiencing the beauty of this land, a place of peace and serenity in the heart of the rolling hills of Tuscany. Hospitaly like in the good old times is our philosophy of life and our magical and relaxing atmosphere will be the setting for your dream experience.
Cozy and comfortable, our Bed & Breakfast offers not only a breathtaking view, but also marvellous home-made breakfasts (which are genuinely from farm to fork). They include the popular, traditional and delicious “pecorino of Pienza”, a cheese which has a long history and it is made right here on our dairy farm.
SERVICES
All our five rooms, the apartment and the dining room have recently been restructured according to a plan which is deep-rooted in Raffaele Cugusi harmonious and creative poems about nature. Our interiors feature traditional exposed ceiling beams and vaulted ceilings which instantly warm up the place. Each room has all comforts: air-conditioning, heating, a safe, TV, WiFi, bed linen, daily cleaning, cloakroom, a desk, private bathroom with brick showers and king size beds (180 x 200 cm.)..
HISTORY
Just a few minutes away from our Bed and Breakfast is Montepulciano, nestled between the Val d’Orcia (an UNESCO world heritage site) and Val di Chiana, the quintessential Tuscan medieval village, which is a symbol of the Renaissance as well, boasting a green landscape,monuments and castle walls (not to mention the ramparts, thermal springs nearby). Montepulciano and fine quality wine are an indissoluble blend: Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a brand of territory, history and tradition. From here you can reach the charming Pienza, the ideal town of the Renaissance, which stands high atop a hill, dominating the Val d’Orcia Valley with extraordinary views.
